Here is why you have to visit Masjid Qubaa:

Firstly; the Favorite Mosque of the Prophet (pbuh)

You have to visit Qubaa Mosque in compliance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh);

It was mentioned in the hadiths that the Prophet (pbuh) used to visit it regularly and invite his companions to visit him

The authority of Abdullah bin Omar said:

“The Prophet (pbuh) used to come to Quba every Saturday, he used to come to him riding and walking, Ibn Dinar said: And Ibn Umar used to do that.”

Secondly, Prayer in Qubaa is Equivalent to Umrah

It is proven by the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) that praying in a Masjid Qubaa has the same reward as Umrah

As a result of the Hadith; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

“Prayer in Quba Mosque equals Umrah”

[Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Suyuti graded it authentic]

On the authority of Usaid bin Dhaheer Al-Ansari, he said:

The prophet (pbuh) said: “A prayer in Masjid Qubaa is like an Umrah.”

[Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah]

On the authority of Sahl bin Hanif, he said:

The prophet (pbuh) said: “Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Masjid Qubaa and performs a prayer there, he will have a reward like an Umrah.”

[Narrated by Imam Ahmad, An-Nasa’i, and Ibn Majah]

On the other hand, whoever prays in Masjid Qubaa, as usual, without intending to pray in it, from his home, will have a great reward and great goodness.

But he does not get the bonus for Umrah unless he decides to do so earlier.
