It is desirable while performing Umrah to say a lot of Dua, especially what is narrated from it, so we will mention some of Dua for Umrah.
Dua for Umrah
Firstly, we will mention some of the Umrah Dua narrated in Hadith:
Ihram Dua
- Dua of Ihram to perform Umrah:
“For you, O God, Umrah.”
[Narrated by Muslim, on the authority of Anas bin Malik]
دعاء الإحرام لأداء العمرة: “لبَّيك اللهم عمرة”، [رواه مسلم، عن أنس بن مالك]
- Al Talbiyah Dua: until you reached Kaaba:
“O, Allah! I hasten to You. You have no partner. I hasten to You. All praise and grace is Yours and all Sovereignty too; You have no partner”
[Narrated by Muslim, on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar]
“لبيك اللهم لبيك، لبيك لا شريك لك لبيك، إنّ الحمد والنعمة لك والملك، لا شريك لك” [رواه مسلم،عن عبدالله بن عمر]
Tawaf Dua
- Tawaf initiation Dua:
“Allah Akbar ”
“الله أكبر”
- Touching the Black Stone Dua:
“In the Name of Allah, and Allah is Greatest.” [Narrated by Al-Nawawi, on the authority of Nafeh Mawla Ibn Omar]
“بسمِ اللهِ واللهُ أكبرُ”. [رواه النووي، عن نافع مولى ابن عمر]
- Dua between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone:
“Oh Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of Hell.”
[Narrated by Ibn Hazm, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Saeb]
“ربَّنا آتِنا في الدنيا حسنةً وفي الآخرةِ حسنةً وقِنا عذابَ النارِ” [رواه ابن حزم، عن عبدالله بن السائب]
Sa’i Dua
It is permissible for the pilgrim to say whatever Dua he wants While Sa’i,
in addition to the well-known Dua when ascends the Safa and Marwah while facing the qiblah, which is represented in the following:
- ” Indeed, Al-Safa and Al-Marwa are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever performs Hajj to the House of Allah or performs Umrah, there is no blame on him if he circumambulates them” [Rebeated X 3]
“إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ”
- “O Allah! I hasten to You. You have no partner. I hasten to You. All praise and grace is Yours and all Sovereignty too; You have no partner, who fulfilled His promise, helped His servant and defeated the confederates alone” [Rebeated X 3]
“لا إله إلا الله والله أكبر، لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير، لا إله إلا الله وحده أنجز وعده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده”
