Firstly, a man has to shave all the hair on his head
Secondly, a woman has to shorten her hair by about 2 cm,
people of knowledge differed as to the amount of hair that is cut to exit from the state of Ihram,
but according to the Maliki and Hanbali schools of thought, if she has braids, she is taken from all of their ends,
otherwise, she collects her hair and takes from all of it,
and it is recommended that she cut approximately 2 centimeters from it, and she may shorten it to Less than that; Because Islamic law did not specify it.

They often use unsterilized razors on multiple people, which can spread diseases and viruses for example hepatitis and HIV.
- Licensed barbers charge approximately 8 $( 30 SAR) for cutting hair, and they use disposable blades only; Each pilgrim has a new blade and razor.
- Make sure the razor used to shave or cut your hair is new, and that the area is clean and sterile.
